5 valuable social media measurement resources
Here are five sites I found to be great resources for social media measurement. Some give great indicator lists and plans to start gathering the data you need for your social media activity.
- Outspoken Media – details how to quantify buzz.
- Econsultancy – Looks at social media measurement from the perspective of a business that a) buys into social media, b) commits to it over a period of time, and as such c) has an integrated social media strategy.
- MarketingCharts.com – While some agree that communities have helped them successfully increase word-of-mouth and boost customer loyalty and brand awareness, others report that social media has fallen short on helping them reap bottom-line benefits, such as increased sales or decreased acquisition costs. Check out the surveys.
- The Social Organization – Provides a laundry list of indicators.
- Altitude – As you embark on this list, you ought to work backwards.
